Fitness Friday!

Yep that it is! Fridayyyy! I have so many plans this weekend I just don't know if I will get around to blogging. But I HAVE to leave with some encouragement for the weekend!

Do not let your weekend make you lose track of your fitness and healthy lifestyle.
I admit sometimes I let my weekend interfere. It is just so easy to go out to eat, sit on the couch watching lifetime and do absolutely nothing. DO NOT DO IT!
In one weekend by not eating healthy or exercising, you can counteract all the work you put into this week. Get off the couch and go outside for a walk, play with the dog, anything to get you moving. And cook healthy!

I will leave you with a 4 minute work out video that is designed to boost your metabolism for 12-36 hours after you do it and can burn as many calories as a 40 min jog. I do this workout every morning just to get up and moving (get the blood flowing). But this is a great weekend mini workout just incase your schedule is packed and doesn't allow you to perform your normal workout routine.

Here is a recipe for my low calorie pasta.
Eric does not eat healthy at all..but he LOVES this stuff. He actually requests it often ;)
It is one of his favorite meals of mine.

Low Calorie Turkey Pasta
2 Turkey Breast (found near ground turkey it looks just like boneless skinless chicken but it is turkey)
1 can 98% fat free Campbells Cream of Chicken
1/2 can diced tomatoes with Garlic Basil & Oregano
1/2 Bell Pepper Seeded and Chopped
1/2 Onion chopped
1 Cup wheat Rotini noodles

Cut turkey breast into square bite size peices.

Spray a skillet with butter flavored cooking spray.

Put bell pepper and onion in the skillet and heat on medium heat until bell pepper and onion are transparent (about 5 minutes) stirring occasionally so they don't burn.

Put turkey breast in the skillet with the onion and bell pepper. While cooking season the turkey. ( I season with garlic powder, onion powder, lemon pepper, and cajun seasoning).

Cook turkey until all peices are white.

Put can of cream of chicken and half can of tomatoes in the skillet.

Fill the cream of chicken can halfway with water and pour in skillet also.

Cover skillet and let simmer for 20 minutes. Stirring occasionally. ( when finished turkey should be tender and cut easily with a fork and be white all the way through).

Cook noodles according to package and add to skillet for another 10 minutes.

And there you have it yummy, low calorie pasta! Pair it with a salad or wheat rolls :)
 I hope you enjoy!
Believe in yourself.

Well..

Last night was a little bit of a Blowout.. LSU definitely didn't play up to their standards! I would say that Alabama came to win and made it happen. Maybe next year! I still love em though! Well we were really pumped at the beginning and "E" decided to do to me what I also do to him...put the camera in my face!

I got in on it first ;) Eric sporting his LSU gear!

He calls this his "action" shot..

And he just kept going...

Oh look another one..lol

And we can't forget our Football Feast...you CAN NOT  watch a football game without Nachos!
I was not gonna even touch nachos because I am trying oh so hard to eat healthy! But I made healthy nachos! And they were delish!

Here's the recipe

1lb ground turkey
baked tostitos
shredded lettuce
1 can black beans
1 tomatoe chopped
Gucamole
Shredded fiesta cheese (made with 2% milk)
Pace chunky salsa

Season your turkey meat to taste ( I put 1/2 a packet of taco seasoning and a little garlic, paprika, minced onions and onion powder)

Cook it in a skillet until most peices are white, then put a lid on the pot and let it simmer.

Add all the fixes you want and enjoy!
So simple so heathy! I felt guilt free eating it and I even worked out at half time!
